Lauren Ash-Morgan is Founding Co-Artistic Director for the new theater company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) between 2014 and 2019. She has been an actor as well as a board member of SSC since the year 2011. As the artistic director of SSC, she was the company's composer/musician/text director as well as the costume, set and music designer. While she was usually the leader of the ensemble of actors at the end of her time, she was able to make her debut as an actor (and lighting designer) with SSC's King Lear.
